Most goals are not reached because one does not set a specific time for the outcome to occur. It’s like saying ‘I will achieve this in the future…” yet the question is always going to be ‘When?’; and we are left wondering why that goal seems to elude us, seem so close yet so far, within reach yet unobtainable.

This in essence is a fear of achieving the ultimate success… not a fear of failure… because failure is something we know, accept and have experienced over and over.

Without having lived my life this way I would be someone different, somewhere different… does it matter that it could be a person or place more positive or influential? No, because this is where I am and who I am; a strong survivor, a successful academic, adaptable to life’s many twists and turns.
